ANITA JOHNSON

All Soul Day

Remembrance of the departed
Is a wonderful feeling
Memory of the legacy, left behind
And just thinking - if only they were here
But it’s a reminder of the journey we are still going to undertake
When? Not yet
Lighting a candle is an honour
Just the bright fire burning and the warmth surrounding the candle stand
And the presence of the Angels, souls of the departed
Reading out the names of beloved ones
Like calling out their spirit and saying
You are not forgotten

Appreciation

How great you are Almighty father
I give thanks for all the things
You have done in my life.
Am so grateful
Having you at my side, day & night
Is a wonderful feeling
I cry onto you
You wipe away my tears
You comfort and say
“Queen Look up to the sky,
Where does your help come from?
Help” comes from who made heaven and earth”
Reach out and say,
Lord I want you in my life.

                                      Money

                                     What are you?
                                Friend, lover or Enemy
                               Where have you been?

Search everywhere but yet haven’t found you
Its time of the month when I need to use you
                              But still am searching.

Have got a list of things I need your help with
                             But still am searching.
                             Oh dear, better come
Have got red and white letter waiting for you.
                                 Still am waiting.
